Khumoyun Ergashev, Psychologist, Tashkent and Online

ACT Therapist

Today you solve one problem, tomorrow another, and then another every day. Is life really going to feel like an endless swamp? Maybe there is another way.

Together we will look for a path that lets you not only exhale, but breathe fully again. Our work will focus on the processes that create the difference between sinking into routine and moving toward a fuller, values-led life.

About

When I was still at university, I kept asking myself: what is happiness? After graduating, I found myself truly free for the first time. Ironically, I had not only failed to understand what happiness was, I also felt completely unable to find it. At what was supposed to be the best time of my life, I was struggling with anxiety, depressive states, and not knowing what to do with that freedom.

What I offer in therapy resembles what helped me in my own life. You do not have to go through this alone. No one handles everything alone. A voice from outside — from a book, a film, YouTube, a friend, an actor, or a stranger — can help return us to our own life. But movement forward is impossible without our own choice. And since you are already here, perhaps you are ready to make that choice.

What I Work With

These are some of the themes you can bring to therapy. You do not need perfect wording — it is enough to sense that something in your life needs attention.

01

Feeling lost

When familiar reference points no longer work and it is unclear where to move next. From the outside things may look fine, while inside there is emptiness, background loneliness, and the question: "Who am I, and what do I actually want from my life?" Together we will gently look for your personal meanings and rebuild inner support.

02

Depressive states

When life turns into mechanical task completion and the things that used to bring joy stop working. It can feel as if there are no resources left inside, and each day is an attempt to move through thick fog. In therapy, we will not force you to "just pull yourself together"; we will gradually return sensitivity, a taste for life, and contact with yourself.

03

Anxiety

A constant background noise in the mind that keeps you from relaxing even when everything is calm. It can look like endless worst-case scenarios, fear of making a mistake, and attempts to control what cannot be controlled. We will work on lowering that intensity, returning you to the present, and helping you respond to anxiety without letting it run your decisions.

04

Sleep difficulties

When night becomes exhausting: thoughts circle, the body cannot relax, and sleep comes only toward morning. Or sleep happens, but leaves you feeling broken. Often this is a sign that the psyche is overloaded and cannot exhale. We will explore what keeps you tense and help sleep return to its first function: safe rest.

05

Postponing life

The sense that real, full life will begin later — when circumstances change, fears pass, or the ideal moment arrives. Meanwhile the days pass in waiting and procrastination. We will work with the processes that keep you from moving forward and practice choosing your values now, without waiting for "perfect conditions."
